AFC Telford sign former Wolves striker Adam Proudlock
Proudlock left Grimsby in June and had been training at Kidderminster
AFC Telford United have signed former Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Adam Proudlock on a short-term contract.
The 29-year-old, who left Grimsby in June and has been training with the Bucks for several weeks, hit a hat-trick in a friendly against Chasetown.
Much-travelled Proudlock, who lives in Telford, hit 13 goals in 71 appearances for Wolves between 1998 and 2003.
Meanwhile, ex-Walsall defender Netan Sansara is training with the club in a bid to earn a contract.
He has recently been released after a short-term deal at Dundee.
Bucks boss Andy Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire: "We've been in contact with Netan since May.
"He has tried to get himself a contract with a league side, but, for whatever reason, it hasn't happened. He's training with us now.
"He is a very talented player. We'll take a close look at him and, if he impresses, then something may happen but, at this stage, we're just looking."
The 21-year-old defender made 27 appearances for Walsall before being released during the summer, having represented England at Under-18 and Under-19 levels during his time with the Saddlers.
Meanwhile, Sinton has no injury problems for Saturday's FA Cup second qualifying round tie with Stourbridge at the Bucks Head.
