Wright has won promotion with both Walsall and MK Dons

Shrewsbury Town have signed Bristol Rovers winger Mark Wright on a six-month loan deal.

The 28-year-old started his career with Walsall, making over 120 appearances for the Saddlers.

"He's a player I've admired for a while and tried to sign when I was at Hereford," manager Graham Turner told the club website.

Wright has also played for MK Dons and Brighton and had a loan spell with Nuneaton while at Walsall.

Turner added: "He is a quick winger who can weigh in with his fair share of goals.

"He has been promoted whilst at Walsall and at MK Dons so brings that experience to the side."
