Alfreon boss Nicky Law relishing race for the title

Nicky Law
Law's men have won six out of six away league games

Boss Nicky Law insists Alfreton Town are relishing the pressure of fighting for the Blue Square North title.

The Reds are second to Boston on goal difference but the Lincolnshire side have played two games more.

And Law, whose side have only lost one league game this season, said: "We are really enjoying the chase.

"There are some very big clubs and good teams on very good runs and I think this is going to be one of the most open races for quite a few seasons."

Alfreton won 3-1 away against Hinckley United on Saturday and have now won 11 out of their 13 league games so far.

Law added: "We can only do what we have been doing and that is keep winning which, fortunately, we are managing to do at the moment."

The Reds entertain Harrogate Town on Saturday. Kick-off at the Impact Arena is 1500 GMT.
