AFC Telford United 2-4 Solihull Moors

Adam Proudlock celebrates
Proudlock scored two goals but missed a crucial penalty for AFC Telford

AFC Telford United crashed to their first league defeat of the season at home to Solihull Moors.

Adam Proudlock's opener for Telford was cancelled out by Simon Johnson before the Bucks had Phil John sent off for his challenge on Adam Cunnington.

Goals from Junior English and Theo Streete then put Solihull clear.

Proudlock pulled one back but Ryan Beswick rounded off the scoring for the Moors before Proudlock had a crucial stoppage-time penalty saved.

The spot-kick was given after Dom Langdon was adjudged to have tugged on Danny Carey-Bertram and Jasbir Singh pulled off a fine save to help Solihull keep their two-goal cushion.

Telford manager Andy Sinton was sent to the stands after a half-time altercation with Solihull assistant Micky Moore.
