Phil Trainer grabbed the only goal as AFC Telford United overcame Stalybridge Celtic at Bower Fold.
Trainer headed the Bucks in front before the break after good work from Adam Proudlock out wide.
The result means Telford remain fourth in the Blue Square Bet North as they extended their unbeaten start to the season to 12 games.
Bucks boss Andy Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire: "Our unbeaten record is one I am proud of."
Stalybridge pressed strongly after half-time, but the Telford defence - marshalled by Stuart Whitehead - looked comfortable.
James Lawrie and Adam Proudlock could also have scored for the Bucks.
"I'm delighted with the performance, delighted with the win - Stalybridge is a hard place to come to," Sinton added.
