Harrogate Town beat Eastwood Town 2-1 to go on their longest winning run since manager Simon Weaver took charge.
Harrogate have been victorious in their last three games and lie in 10th place in the Blue Square Bet North table.
Weaver told BBC Radio York: "The performance was definitely up there with the last couple.
"We have said all along that results dictate. They dictate whether I'm getting stick. They dictate whether we get a bit of praise."
He added: "It's a nice feeling driving home and enjoying having won a game."
Kyle Hadley and Graeme Armstrong scored the goals for Harrogate Town on a wet night at the CNG Stadium.
Weaver continued: "I thought we deserved the win again. We played some good stuff in trying conditions. It hammered it down throughout the game and before it.
"It was a great surface prepared by the groundsman here. It's always difficult when it's slippy and wet underfoot but it's hard to pinpoint an individual because I thought they all shone tonight. "
