Justin Edinburgh took over as Rushden & Diamonds manager in April 2009

Rushden & Diamonds manager Justin Edinburgh has been given the Blue Square Bet Premier Manager of the Month award for October.

Edinburgh led his side to five wins and a draw from six matches, including a 5-0 win over Barrow, which saw them climb to fifth in the table.

Luton striker Danny Crow has picked up the player of the month award after he scored six goals in six appearances.

The 24-year-old signed for Luton from Cambridge United in the summer.

Steve Kittrick from Guiseley won the Blue Square Bet North Manager of the Month award following five wins from five matches, including three league wins.

The Blue Square Bet South award went to Havant & Waterlooville boss Shain Gale after they reached the first round of the FA Cup with a 2-0 win over Blue Square Bet Premier side Histon.
