Edinburgh has been in charge at Nene Park since April 2009
Rushden & Diamonds manager Justin Edinburgh says he was never in any doubt that his side would recover from their slow start to the season.
Diamonds only took one point from their first three Blue Square Bet Premier games, but are now unbeaten in six.
Edinburgh told BBC Radio Northampton: "I stayed calm and I had belief in the team when we were bottom of the table.
"The physio has worked tirelessly to get everyone fit, and that mirrors the results we've had."
Aaron O'Connor, Craig Farrell, Jamie Day and Shane Huke all picked up injuries in pre-season or within weeks of the season starting.
Edinburgh, who led Rushden to the play-offs last season, has seen his side bounce back from those setbacks to climb to fifth in the table on the back of a run of five wins in their last six league games, as well as reach the first round proper of the FA Cup.
And he is pleased with the progress his side is making.
"Confidence plays a major part," said Edinburgh. "It's a pleasure to work with this group of players. As young as they are, they're maturing quickly."
