Nicky Law boosted by Dan Dillon's England C call-up
Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law was delighted to see new signing Dan Dillon play for England C in their 7-1 victory over Hallam FC on Tuesday.
The midfielder, 24, has joined from Blue Square Bet North rivals Hinckley but has not yet played for Alfreton.
"I was very pleased with Dan's 45 minutes," Law said.
"He only joined us last Friday and the pitch minutes were a bonus for him and the club as he had missed the last few weeks at Hinckley with a rib injury."
Former Carlisle United trainee Dillon made 15 appearances for the Cumbrians before spending a couple of seasons in Conference South with Team Bath and then moving on to Hinckley in July 2009.

Reds boss Nicky Law
Dillon, who was the Hinckley captain, becomes Nicky Law's third signing in a fortnight following the signing of midfield player Laurie Wilson and loan signing of central defender Tom Naylor from Mansfield Town.
The Reds were knocked off of the top of the table after a goalless draw at home with third-placed Telford in front of a crowd of 1,168 last Saturday.
They are a point behind leaders Boston but have a game in hand and Law is not worried.
He said: "We are not even looking at the league table. It is only October.
"I would be more bothered if it were the next to last game, but there will be plenty more twists and turns yet."
The Reds are next in action on Saturday, 30 October when Worcester City visit the Impact Arena.
