Second-half goals see Redditch past Loughborough Dynamo
Redditch United overcame the loss of leading scorer Matt Smith to Droylsden to see off the threat of Loughborough Dynamo in their FA Cup tie.
Smith opted for a move to the Bloods to be nearer Manchester University where he is studying.
But a brace of second-half goals saw Matt Gardiner's side safely see off the threat of a giant-killing.
Smith's replacement Jemiah Richards put the Reds on their way while substitute Phil Green then made the game safe.
Redditch United manager Matt Gardiner told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "The message to the players before the game was that if they just thought they were going to turn up and we'll roll them over early on in the game it's not going to happen.
"You have got to earn the right to play which we did and we ground them down.
"In the end it was a comfortable win and I am really pleased with the players because of the effort and professionalism they showed today."
