Worcester Warriors v Doncaster

Willie Walker
Walker joined Worcester initially on loan from Gloucester in February 2009

Willie Walker will play his first game of the season at full-back for Worcester Warriors against Doncaster at Sixways, as Tom Arscott is rested.

Jonny Arr teams up with Andy Goode in the half backs for the first time, with Andy Williams rested.

In the front row Chris Fortey and Tevita Taumoepeau make their first league starts of the season.

Jake Abbott returns in the back row, with England Under-18 centre Andy Short on the bench.

Warriors head coach Richard Hill told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "Doncaster will come off the bus and they will be giving it everything.

"We have to work hard in the first half in the hope that we can score some tries in the second half.

"We have looked at Doncaster on video and we are using Matt Mullan and Chris Pennell to analyse the opposition as they have long-term injuries.

"They have reported back an Doncaster, they have some threats, there is no doubt about that.

"Like most teams in this league they are well drilled. They may not have star names on the sheet but they work well together and will keep going until the end."

Worcester: Walker; Garvey, Crockett, Rasmussen, Benjamin; Goode, Arr; A Black, Fortey, Taumoepeau, Rawlinson, Kitchener, Best, Abbott, Horstmann.

Replacements: Shervington, Douglas, Bowley, Collins, Williams, Carlisle, Short.

Worcester Warriors take on Doncaster Knights at Sixways on Saturday 25 September (1500 BST) and there will be full commentary on BBC Hereford and Worcester on 104fm and online.
