Redditch United slipped to their second successive Blue Square Bet North defeat when Alfreton Town ran out convincing winners at the Valley Stadium.
The visitors went in front through Anthony Wilson after 26 minutes.
Andy Jones levelled for the Reds on 40 minutes but Alfreton regained the lead before the break when Nathan Arnold netted three minutes later.
Paul Clayton scored a second-half brace while Jake Moult was also on target as Alfreton wrapped up a convincing win.
