Adams made 131 appearances for Plymouth Argyle between 1999-2005
Truro City have confirmed the signing of former Torquay United midfielder Steve Adams.
The 29-year-old, who spent much of last season on loan at Treyew Road, was released by Torquay in May.
Adams started his career at Plymouth Argyle, where he made 131 league appearance, scoring seven goals.
After leaving Home Park in 2005, Adams spent two years with Sheffield Wednesday, before joining Swindon Town and then Torquay a year later.
Truro have also announced that 35-year-old Hungarian goalkeeper Yannish Timar is on trial with the squad and will play in Saturday's friendly with Saltash.
