Gloucester City boss David Mehew signs new contract
Gloucester City boss David Mehew has signed a two-year contract which will keep him with the club until 2012.
The 42-year-old, who took over from Tim Harris in 2008 after two years working as Harris's assistant, had been working on a non-contract basis for two years.
"I'm obviously delighted, I think it shows a commitment on both sides," Mehew told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
"I think I've done quite well, so it's reward for that and hopefully it will bode well for the future of the club."
Mehew guided Gloucester City to promotion from the Southern League via the play-offs in 2008-09 and then to survival in their first season in Blue Square North in 2009-10.
