New Braintree Town manager Rod Stringer has returned to his former club Aveley to sign five players.
Michael Alaile, Ryan Doyle, Sam Holloway, Nicky Symons and Martin Tuohy have all moved to Cressing Road from the Ryman Premier League side.
The five were part of the squad who made the play-off semi-final in their first season in the division.
Stringer joined the Blue Square South side last month following the departure of previous incumbent Robbie Garvey.
