New Braintree Town manager Rod Stringer wants the club's fans to get behind him and his coaching staff.
Stringer's coaches from Aveley, Keith Rowlands and Eddie Crace, are also following him up the A12.
"I feel we are the right people for the job and I want the fans to give us time," Stringer told BBC Essex.
"We're going to have teething problems but it's about how many hours you put in and we won't be lacking on that front," he added.
Stringer led Aveley to the Ryman Division One North title and then a Premier Division play-off semi-final in two and a half years at The Millfield.
"I will invite some of my Aveley players to come up and join me," he said.
"But I will also talk to the existing Braintree squad and try to keep them here."
