Blue Square Bet Premier-bound Southport have re-signed striker Tony Gray from Droylsden on a two-year contract.
This will be the forward's second spell at Haig Avenue, after the 26-year-old left the Merseyside club in December 2008.
Southport manager Liam Watson said: "Tony is a quality player and will bring a lot into the squad.
"I am very pleased with our close-season signings so far and expect to have another completed this week."
Club legend Steve Dickinson will return to Haig Avenue as second choice goalkeeper to Tony McMillan.
Dickinson, 33, holds Southport's record for non-League appearances for the club at 273.
