Accrington players Peter Cavanagh and Robbie Williams have been given longer to respond to Football Association charges of breaching betting rules.

The charges relate to betting against Stanley in the final match of last season, which Bury won 2-0.

The pair, along with former Stanley players Jay Harris and David Mannix and ex-Bury striker Andrew Mangan, were expected to respond by 23 April.

The FA have confirmed they have around two more weeks to enter a plea.
