Buckland Athletic beat Bodmin to win Throgmorton Cup
Buckland Athletic have won the Throgmorton Cup, beating Peninsula Premier League rivals Bodmin Town 2-1 after extra time on Monday.
Defending champions Bodmin took the lead through Luke Hodge, before Danny Gaze equalised for Buckland.
With the scores level after 90 minutes, it was Buckland who broke the deadlock to score in the 108th minute.
Bodmin's Lewis Reed gave away a penalty, which substitute Antony Lynch put away to give Buckland the win.
Buckland's joint-manager Jamie Carwardine told BBC Radio Cornwall that winning was a great achievement for everyone at the club.
He said: "I'm absolutely delighted for the lads. They've worked so hard and to come this far and get the first silverware on the shelf is fantastic."
Buckland and Bodmin will now re-focus their thoughts on the Peninsula Premier League, where they are both in with a chance of claiming the title, with just two games to play.
Buckland are currently on top of the table with 83 points from 34 games, whilst Bodmin are two points behind, having also played 34 games.
