Worcester City must scrap for points - Carl Heeley
Heeley's team are five points off the relegation places
Worcester City manager Carl Heeley says his team must forget their off-field problems and scrap for points to avoid relegation from the Blue Square South.
Worcester, who face Staines Town on Friday, came within 24 hours of going into administration earlier this week.
"What has gone in recent weeks is irrelevant, we are scrapping for our lives" the City boss told BBC Hereford & Worcester.
"Every opportunity we have to pick up points is crucial."
He added: "The fact they [Staines] are in the play-offs and going well does not matter.
"In the past few months we have played well against some of the teams playing for the play off places, we are not fazed about going to Staines."
There will be full commentary on Staines against Worcester City on Friday, 2 April (kick-off 1945 BST) online at bbc.co.uk/herefordandworcester.
