Darren Edmondson's side are four points off the play-offs

Workington's Blue Square North play-off hopes were boosted after a Ryan Bowman strike earned them a 2-1 win against Eastwood Town on Saturday.

Reds had gone a goal down in the first half thanks to Ryan Whitehurst's opener but levelled in the second period through Gareth Arnison's penalty.

However Bowman's goal with just a minute to play secured three vital points for the Reds' promotion push.

The Cumbrian side are four points off the play-offs with two games in hand.
