Gainsborough Trinity move closer to safety with win
Gainsborough Trinity claimed a vital 2-1 victory over Hyde United in Blue Square North to move closer to safety.
Luke Beckett put Trinity ahead after 16 minutes before Kieran Mooney levelled.
Lewis McMahon's 77th-minute winner following a goalmouth scramble took the Blues level on points with fourth-from-bottom Gloucester City.
Manager Brian Little told BBC Lincolnshire: "I don't think we got to grips with the game but I'll settle for the result over the performance."
Gainsborough, whose goal difference is two goals worse than Gloucester's, could move out of the Blue Square North relegation zone at home to Alfreton Town on Saturday.
