Chris Dagnall rescued a point to keep Rochdale on track for promotion as they drew with Lincoln.
Drewe Broughton and Davide Somma tested Rochdale keeper Frank Fielding before Chris Herd stroked the ball home to open the scoring for the visitors.
Dagnall had a stinging drive pushed round the post and Rob Burch also denied Will Atkinson and Chris O'Grady.
But the pressure finally told when Dagnall wriggled free of two defenders and fired in to restore parity.
Lincoln City manager Chris Sutton told BBC Lincolnshire: "We knew we would be under pressure at some stage of the game and we were in the second half.
"I thought we scored a nicely worked goal in the first half, and they may have been fortunate with their goal with a ricochet because I think it was going wide.
"They had a lot of pressure, but before the game I would have taken a point. I keep saying every week there's still a lot of work to do but I was pleased with the commitment of the players."
