Paul Hurst bemoans 'boring' Boston United win at Durham
Hurst's side are in play-off contention in UniBond Premier
Boston United joint-manager Paul Hurst has bemoaned his side's performance against Durham on Saturday, despite them winning the game 4-1.
A hat-trick from Spencer Weir-Daley and a debut goal from Ryan Semple secured the win against the league strugglers.
"I was pretty bored on the touchline and didn't really enjoy the afternoon," Hurst told BBC Lincolnshire.
"The lads know the standards we aspire to and we were nowhere near that. We never really got in gear."
Durham have lost all 28 of their league games this season in the UniBond Premier and Boston beat them 10-0 at York Street earlier in the season.
Despite the victory - which lifted Boston to second - Hurst feels the Pilgrims will need to put in a much-improved performance when they travel to fellow promotion hopefuls Retford United on Tuesday night.
"One or two of the lads can take positives from it, but overall we played for ten minutes out of the 90 and that's not enough," he said.
