Harrogate Town boss Simon Weaver rues Stafford defeat
Harrogate Town boss Simon Weaver thought his side were unfortunately to lose 1-0 to Stafford Rangers.
A late goal from Stafford's Tom Thorley condemned Harrogate Town to the Blue Square North defeat at Marston Road.
Weaver told BBC Radio York: "I thought in the first half it was going to be only a matter of time before we scored.
"I was very comfortable with our shape and the way we were playing. We hit the post and had chances. The delivery was good but we didn't stick it away."
Town are just two points above bottom club Vauxhall Motors, and now visit Farsley Celtic on 26 January.
Weaver added: "
There are lots of positives - we can't get too downbeat or the morale will go lower

"We said at half time that they (Stafford) would come out fired up from their manager, he was giving them a rollicking because we were playing them off the pitch.
"Every team does have a good spell, and Stafford capitalised on that, while we didn't when we had our long spell of good play."
Adam Nowakowski, Peter Knox and Simon Yeo all had good chances for Town, but Thorley's long-range strike earned Stafford the points with 14 minutes to go.
Weaver said: "There are lots of positives - we can't get too downbeat or the morale will go lower."
Weaver has no concerns about motivating his latest batch of new players for the next few games.
"They've got the right mindset. They're all the right age, still have aspirations to go higher, and to play a lot of good games higher up in football," he said.
"They've got a point to prove on Tuesday night now. I said, all eyes are on you now, on how you respond - two good performances, one win, one loss.
"There weren't too many negatives, I think we're going from strength to strength."
