Gloucester City netted early in each half to secure a 2-0 home Blue Square North win over Redditch United.
Lee Smith put the home side ahead after only 11 minutes before Mike Symons made the game safe with the second goal on 56 minutes.
Redditch had their opportunities, but paid the price for not taking them in tricky, icy conditions.
Gloucester's victory was swift revenge for the 4-1 defeat they suffered at Redditch on Boxing Day.

"They got the goals at the right time but there wasn't a lot in the game.
"The pitch was such that it was debatable whether it should have been played.
"But they got their noses in front and they made sure they hung on to what they had got."
