Reds set for Geohaghon windfall

Exodus Geohaghon
Geohaghon has now stepped up four divisions in less than 18 months

Redditch United will profit if Exodus Geohaghon's permanent transfer from Kettering to Peterborough goes through in January.

The defender joined former boss Mark Cooper at Posh on loan last week, with a view to a permanent move.

The Reds will receive 20% of the transfer fee for the defender, who left to join the Poppies in 2008.

"Everybody is pleased for Exodus and it is a bonus," Reds boss Gary Whild told BBC Hereford & Worcester.

"It's good news for the club in terms of the fact that someone that we have highlighted and picked up has progressed.

"Financially, we have got a sell-on clause so that is also good news."
