Chris McPhee had his first-half penalty saved as Kidderminster Harriers were held to a goalless draw by Tamworth.
The midfielder saw his fierce spot-kick well saved by Lambs keeper Danny Alcock after Dominic Langdon tripped Ryan Charles in the penalty area.
Darryl Knights came closest to a goal in the second half but his 25-yard effort was tipped over by Alcock.
Striker Jake Sheridan had Tamworth's best effort but his early strike flew over the bar.
Kidderminster Harriers manager Mark Yates told BBC Hereford and Worcester:
"We are disappointed in one or two things but it was an improvement on Saturday.
"It was hard work tough conditions, but it was an open game.
"We did not create enough and when we did we didn't take them
"I think the penalty miss sums Chris up at the moment, he is trying so hard but nothings going or him, he should have just smashed it but he tried to place it, that sums it up."
