Redditch manager Gary Whild had warned his side of a tough game

Guiseley centre-half Danny Ellis scored the only goal in a shock FA Trophy first round victory over Redditch United on Saturday.

The Reds' hopes of a good run ended in upset against the Unibond Premier Division side, whose last game was a home defeat by North Ferriby United.

Ellis's decisive goal came shortly after the hour-mark.

The defeat leaves Redditch to focus solely on their battle to pull away from the Blue Square North drop zone.
