Rolls signs deal to save Weymouth

Weymouth

Weymouth have been saved from administration after former Cambridge United chairman George Rolls completed a deal to buy the club.

The Terras had accepted another offer which fell through last week, leaving Rolls until Friday to seal the deal.

"We still have not got all the information we require," Rolls told BBC Radio Solent.

"We have taken a bit of a flier, but we could not allow the club to go into liquidation," he added.
