Rob Smith took Telford to the FA Trophy semi-finals last season
Telford boss Rob Smith locked his players in the dressing room after the Bucks slumped 2-1 at home to Stalybridge in their FA Trophy replay.
Last season's semi-finalists had the perfect start, Shane Killock firing the Bucks ahead after just three minutes.
But Keith Briggs levelled, and Celtic's top scorer Joe O'Neill hit the winner straight after the break.
"It was a poor performance, a bit of a shocker," Telford boss Rob Smith admitted to BBC Radio Shropshire.
"We had our say afterwards, and now we've got to look forward to Farsley (in the Blue Square North) on Saturday - when we should have a new face in the side."
Stalybridge's success means they travel to Nantwich in the Trophy's first round proper.
