Cowan (l) scored a crucial goal for AFC Telford United
A second-half goal from Gavin Cowan kept AFC Telford United in the FA Trophy as the Bucks earned a 1-1 draw at Stalybridge Celtic.
Rob Smith's side, who reached the semi-finals of last season's competition trailed at the break to Keith Briggs' 31st minute goal.
But Cowan's levelled 10 minutes from time meaning Telford will replay Celtic on Tuesday night at the New Bucks Head.
The Bucks are unbeaten in their last 12 clashes with Stalybridge.
After the game, Smith told BBC Radio Shropshire: "I'm disappointed we didn't win the game but when you're chasing the game you take a draw.
"First half we should have been out of sight but we're just not clinical enough.
"We showed a bit of character in the second half, playing uphill and against a team who can knock it around a bit, but I thought in the end we deserved a draw."
