Goals from Liam Blakeman, Matt Nolan and Jon Adams earned AFC Telford an impressive 3-0 away win at Stalybridge.
Blakeman's strike put the Bucks ahead just before half time against a side tipped for the Blue Square North title.
Telford controlled the game, and late goals from summer signing Matt Nolan and Jon Adams buried the home side.
"It was the perfect reaction to Saturday's draw with Blyth, it was a really professional performance," boss Rob Smith told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"We showed we've got goals in this side - and the last one from Adams was world class in my eyes.

"But we also defended well, and I hope we can take this performance on to the weekend and beyond," he added.
