AFC Telford United came from a goal down to secure a draw against Blyth Spartans in their first game of the new season at the New Bucks Head.
The visitors silenced the home support by taking the lead through an audacious back heel from Robert Dale in only the third minute.
But Steve Torpey marked an impressive league debut by equalising six minutes before the break with a 30-yard drive.
John Alexander was denied a late winner for Blyth by a fine Ryan Young save.
