Shrewsbury's important win at Himley has pulled them out of the Birmingham League premier division's bottom two. Elliot Green took 4-28 as Himley were bowled out for 152. Wil Parton then hit 71 as Shrewsbury reached 156-5. Wellington have moved up to second in division one. They had Old Hill out for 97 (Anthony O'Connor 6-42) and then reached 100-8 to win by two wickets. Shifnal's Adam Shimmons took 6-40 to limit Harborne to 125. Tony Parton was 41 not out as Shifnal eased to 127-4. St George's are in trouble in division two. They fell into the relegation area after losing to drop-rivals Penn. The Saints slumped to just 78, with Penn hardly losing sweat for 79-3. Shropshire teams also occupy the top two spots at the top of division three. Whitchurch (105-3) are in pole position after beating Coleshill (104) by seven wickets. Bridgnorth moved up to second after a Shropshire derby win over struggling Newport. Rajah Bhatia hit a bold 137 in Newport's 214-9, but David Exall was unbeaten on 95 as Bridgnorth reached 216-4. In the Shropshire Premier League, Oswestry have opened up a 41-point gap at the top after beating title rivals Quatt. Dean Robinson (84) was top scorer for the visitors as Quatt made 191-8, but Alex Huxley (102) and Nick Williams (68) were both unbeaten as Oswestry responded strongly for 193-1. Much Wenlock moved up to equal third with Wem - after beating them by eight wickets. Wem posted 109 - but Wenlock coasted to 110-2 aided by Duncan May's unbeaten 57. Allscott won again, this time against Ludlow. Ian Pollard took 5-24 and Christian Starling 2-56 as Ludlow were bowled out for 148. Ben Waters was unbeaten on 56 as Allscott triumphed on 150-6. Albrighton's Darren Shimmons took three wickets for just seven runs to restrict Shelton (Ben Matthews 69) to 193. But tidy bowling from Ben Chambers (4-51) and Andy Wigginton (3-34) saw off Albrighton for 156. Jonathan Prince made 87 not out in Madeley's 176-5, and then took four wickets as Broseley fell to just 108. Reman's (162-69) beat Welshpool (111), and Newtown (133-3) overcame Bomere Heath (127).
