Phil Trainer celebrates his late winner against Workington

Phil Trainer secured all three points for AFC Telford United with a late goal in their Blue Square North clash with Workington at the New Bucks Head.

Danny Carey-Bertram had the best of the chances for the Bucks before Trainer's goal, but he blasted over from inside the box after a good run.

Telford assistant boss Larry Chambers told BBC Radio Shropshire: "We deserved it over the course of the 90 minutes."

"And it was fitting that Phil Trainer got the winner."

The win lifts Telford up to 10th spot in the Blue Square North.
