The Lowestoft players celebrate with Gary McGee after his late goal
In true cup tradition, Lowestoft Town have given themselves a real chance of meeting former league side Wrexham in the first round of the FA Cup.
Trailing by an own goal at Gloucester City (Greg Crane the unfortunate one), and with virtually 94 minutes on the clock, Gary McGee slotted home from close range.
It was a deserved equaliser for the Blues and if they can dig deep at Crown Meadow on Tuesday then hopefully they will be on their way to Wales in a couple of weeks' time.
King's Lynn were also on their travels again making the trip to Merseyside for the second week on the spin. Having beaten Marine 1-0 in the FA Trophy the week before, hopes were high that three points may follow.
However, they had to settle for a 1-1 draw despite Anthony Robinson giving them the lead. The result means Lynn remain third in the Unibond Premier.
Ridgeons Premier Division
In the Ridgeons Premier Division there was another disappointing weekend for our Norfolk sides.
Not one victory could be registered, although Dereham Town did well to draw 2-2 at high flying CRC. Considering The Magpies' poor run of late it will hopefully give them a much needed boost.
Norwich United also drew 1-1 at home to Histon reserves, while there were defeats for Wroxham and King's Lynn reserves.
Great Yarmouth Town maintained their decent form with a 2-1 win at Stowmarket. It keeps the Bloaters second in Ridgeons One, having lost just once in the league so far this season.
East coast neighbours Gorleston beat Cornard United 3-0 but Diss Town have slipped down to fourth in the table after defeat at Brantham. Downham Town also lost, so too Fakenham Town who are unfortunately still searching for their first point of the campaign.
