Gurney expresses doubt on future

Weston boss Gurney has overseen just two wins in 12 games this season

Weston-super-Mare manager Andy Gurney says changes need to be made at the club following their latest defeat to St Albans.

"There's only so long people will put up with losing. It might be me going before them," Gurney told BBC Radio Bristol.

"I think if I'm here there'll be one or two going out the door as we need to freshen things up a bit."

They have won only two of their last 12 league games.

They are currently in the bottom three of the Blue Square South.

The Seagulls lost 3-2 at home to St Albans on Saturday and Gurney was critical of his side's performance.

"You can't afford to give away three goals like we did and expect to get anything out of the game," he said.

"I don't think I've seen three goals as poor as that in a long time.

"It's not good enough and I'm fed up of saying the same thing."
