The Linnets have yet to win at The Walks so far this season
King's Lynn chairman Ken Bobbins insists the Linnets are not experiencing the same financial problems as last season.
Assistant manager Andy Johnson stepped down this week claiming he was owed money, but Bobbins told BBC Radio Norfolk it was not the club's fault.
He said: "It's not outstanding wages from the club, a sponsor hasn't fully paid monies he said he'd pay to Andy.
"Every player this season has been paid wages on the dot, and is up to date."
The withdrawal of a major financial backer earlier this year led to many of the first-team staff taking a wage deferral last season.
Johnson's exit on Thursday led to concern that the same might be happening again, but Bobbins says that's a long way from the truth.
He added: "That situation has been sorted, there are some players that haven't been paid yet, but that's because there was a small dispute regarding the amounts outstanding.
"They've now sorted that out with the club and next week will be paid up-to-date, most of the players already have."
Bobbins also says the process of appointing a replacement is already well underway, with manager Carl Heggs clear about who he wants.
"He's got a couple of people in mind, one he specifically wants," he said.
"He will be very useful in many ways, he's got loads of contacts within the non-league football scene and he's been attached to a club that's been very successful."
King's Lynn travel to Bury Town in the FA Cup on Saturday 12 September with full live coverage on BBC Radio Norfolk from 1400 BST.
