Woking boss Graham Baker maintains his side are not destined for promotion despite a promising start to the Blue Square South season.
The Cards won 2-1 at Basingstoke on Tuesday to go joint top with Dover.
Baker believes it is too early to make any judgements and told BBC Surrey: "We have no divine right in this league to win games and we know that.
"The squad I built in the summer still has a long long way to go. There's still too much football to play."
He added: "Enjoy it while it's here, we'll do our best as a group to prolong it for as long as we can.
"As I said at the beginning, it's going to be a long season for a lot of those boys who haven't experienced one full season of competitive football in their life."
