Whitby Town have signed Ryan Blott from Scarborough Athletic and the striker could feature against Nantwich Town in the Unibond Premier on Saturday.
The 21-year-old had been with Athletic for two seasons, during which time he scored 62 goals for the club.
Blott said he has made the step up from the Northern Counties East League because he wants to play at the highest level of football possible.
Meanwhile Scarborough have signed young striker Billy Logan from Mansfield.
