Southport manager Liam Watson has said he was delighted with his side's display in Tuesday's 2-0 victory over Blyth Spartans.
Goals from Ciaran Kilheeney and Chris Simm gave Watson's side their second win of the Blue Square North season.
Watson told BBC Radio Merseyside: "It was a great performance and I think we dominated from the very first minute.
"[We were] never in any danger and we probably should have scored a few more goals in the end."
I wouldn't swap him for any other striker at our level
Liam Watson on Ciaran Kilheeney
Watson had special praise for Kilheeney, saying that the 25-year-old can be a key performer for the Sandgrounders now he has put his injury problems behind him.
"I wouldn't swap him for any other striker at our level," said Watson. "That tells you what I think of him.
"He had a bad injury in January last year and never really got over it, but he's gone and got himself incredibly fit through the summer.
"His two goals this season have been top draw and I expect a lot from him."
