Didcot Town manager Stuart Peace says he is relishing the upcoming start of the Southern League Premier season.
Having earned promotion from the First Division via the play-offs last season, the club are expecting a tough campaign this time around.
However, Peace says that thanks to the promotion, the pressure on him has been eased significantly.
"I think it's the first year I've had no pressure at all," he told BBC Oxford.
"In previous years we've been expected to do well and I don't think this year we're expected to do so well."
Peace is also hoping that this lack of pressure will help the players when the season gets underway on 15 August.
He said: "The players to a degree probably feel it's the first time in five or six years (where) there isn't such an expectation on what we're achieving.
"That might aid us and help us to do as best we can for the remainder of this pre-season and the coming season."
