Blue Square North side Farsley Celtic have appointed club legend Simeon Bambrook as player-assistant manager.
The 37-year-old returns to Throstle Nest to work under boss Neil Parsley, after a spell at local rivals Guiseley.
"It's good to be back in this role I have been offered to help Neil Parsley in coaching," said Bambrook.
"It was a fairly easy decision to come back because my best time in football has been here and the chance to come back is great."
In 2007 Bambrook scored Farsley's winning goal against Hinckley United in the Blue Square North play-off final to send the club up to the Blue Square Premier for the first time in their history.
The midfielder or wing-back then left the West Yorkshire club in September 2008 when he was released by former manager John Deacey, but will keep his playing boots on now he has returned.
Bambrook added: "It's my first role in management and I think I'm coming into a good team with Pars (Neil Parsley) and Jacko (Mark Jackson).
It's not all about the money, it's about getting a bunch of lads together that are local and got a good team spirit along with a few lads with experience

"How many times I play is down to how many Neil Parsley decides. I might get used more than I want to but we will see.
"We have cut our budget like a few other teams have.
"But it's not all about the money, it's about getting a bunch of lads together that are local and got a good team spirit along with a few lads with experience.
"If we can get a good mixture, we might do well."
Meanwhile boss Parsley has confirmed that defender Mark Jackson will take up the position of player-coach in his mini backroom reshuffle.
