Gloucester City striker Jack Pitcher has signed a new one-year contract to stay with the newly-promoted Blue Square North side.

There were fears the Tigers could lose a number of players after being placed in the Blue Square North rather than the Blue Square South.

But Pitcher, 25, dismissed concerns over the greater travelling required.

And Bristol-based quartet Tom Hamblin, Lee Marshall, Luke Ballinger and Jack Harris have also committed to the club.
