Danny McDonnell has been at Worcester City since 2000
Worcester City are still to hear which league they will be playing in next season after the Football Association delayed their decision.
City, who could return to Blue Square North after a season in the South, were due to find out their fate on Thursday.
But the FA say there are still some issues to be resolved and that Worcester should know by next week.
Meanwhile, City may need a new keeper, veteran Danny McDonnell, 36, having joined the coaching staff.
City boss Richard Dryden told the Worcester News: "He couldn't commit as much time as he has done in recent years so we have agreed for him to come on board on the coaching side and we will look for a first-choice keeper.
"It will be good to have him as back-up."

FA spokesman on City's fate
City's longest-serving player, signed by then boss John Barton in 2000, has clocked up more than 350 appearances.
He was the only keeper on City's books last season, missing just three matches, for which Dryden was forced to draft in Dave Clarke and Chris Tardif.
"I think everybody will agree that for Danny to have only missed three games last season was a massive plus," admitted Dryden.
While McDonnell will still be there as cover, it remains to be seen whether he is still keeping goal in Blue Square South, or back in the North section.
"We still need to satisfy certain panels and boards," an FA spokesman told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
