AFC Telford United left it late to wrap up a 2-0 victory over Farsley Celtic that consolidates their place in the Blue Square North play-off positions.
Goals from Carl Rodgers (74) and Danny Edwards (89) left Telford five points clear in the final play-off spot.
Bucks boss Rob Smith told BBC Radio Shropshire: "It was a nervy night - a few played with niggles, a few dead on their feet, but we got through it.
"The win was the be-all and end-all, and now I believe we'll get there."
He added: "If we'd messed up there, it would have been very difficult for us."
With three games to play, Telford occupy the final play-off place with a five-point cushion between them and Droylsden.
The Bucks need four points from their remaining games to guarantee a play-off spot and on Saturday face a tough trip to Southport, who still have a chance of winning the league.
Telford manager Rob Smith will be taking your questions in a special fans phone-in on Friday evening from 1800 (GMT) on BBC Radio Shropshire 96 FM, DAB digital radio or online at bbc.co.uk/shropshire.
