Aspin is looking for a goalkeeper after Jonathan Hedge's red card
Harrogate manager Neil Aspin was happy with his side despite their 3-1 defeat by play-off rivals AFC Telford United in the Blue Square North on Tuesday.
Aspin had no complaints even though Harrogate goalkeeper Jonathan Hedge was sent off.
He told BBC Radio York: "I thought for long periods of the game we played some good football.
"To get the keeper sent off at the end puts a different reflection on it but I can't argue with the effort."
Town are currently eighth in the table and 10 points off the play-off places, AFC Telford are fourth.
"We were always in the game," Aspin added. "Obviously the turning point for me came in the second half when we had a great chance to make it 2-1 with James Dean through on goal. Within a couple of minutes we were 2-1 behind.
"I think if we'd have scored that maybe we'd have held on to win the game.
"I'm not upset with the players performance I think they gave a good account of themselves."
