John Allan scored twice, the second a stoppage-time winner as Northwich kept alive their slender hopes of avoiding relegation at fellow strugglers York.

Northwich took the lead in the 26th minute when Joel Byrom crossed for Allan to fire in from 20 yards.

York levelled from the penalty spot in the 68th minute through Mark Robinson after Ryan Brown fouled Richard Brodie.

Allan's late strike from 12 yards still looks unlikely to save Northwich but his goal did York few favours.
