Truro City still remain seven points clear in the Southern League's Division One South and West.

A first half goal from Stewart Yetton was enough for the Tigers to earn a 1-0 win away at North Leigh.

However, City Manager Sean McCarthy, says the opponents pitch did his side no favours.

"The pitch was just rock hard and you don't know where the ball is going to bounce and the teams know that. But it's another three points".

He added: "Teams know we like to get the ball down and play and they are not going to water then pitch to suit us - they are going to make it as difficult as possible for us/

"But we got the three points and it is another game we have got rid of, if you like.

"We have only got five games left now."
